Community & Safety Rules

Effective 7 August 2026

MyJuhuu is built for useful, respectful neighborhood sharing. These rules apply to listings, profiles, messages, bookings, handovers, reviews, and reports.

Immediate danger? Leave the situation, do not complete the handover, and contact local emergency services. MyJuhuu reporting is not an emergency service.

1. Core principles

2. What cannot be listed

Do not list illegal, stolen, recalled, counterfeit, dangerously defective, or unlawfully modified items. The following are prohibited unless MyJuhuu has expressly created a lawful, safety-reviewed category for them:

Owners must disclose defects, missing guards, age limits, required training, protective equipment, and safe-use instructions. MyJuhuu may remove an item when its risk cannot be reasonably managed on the marketplace.

3. Conduct and communications

No threats, stalking, harassment, sexual misconduct, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, coercion, fraud, impersonation, spam, retaliation, or pressure to move payment off-platform to evade safeguards or fees. Do not share another person's private information without permission. Messages must relate to the listing, booking, or support needed to complete it.

4. Safer rentals and handovers

5. How to report

Use “Report listing” or “Report owner” on a listing, or “Report a concern” beside a booking in your dashboard. Choose the closest reason and describe what happened with relevant dates, messages, or safety details. Reports are private. The reported person does not see the reporter's identity through the report system, though they may infer it from the circumstances.

Report categories include unsafe conduct, prohibited items, fraud, misleading information, harassment or discrimination, and other concerns. Submit one clear report per incident; duplicate or retaliatory reports slow review.

6. How moderation decisions are made

Authorized moderators may review the report and relevant listings, accounts, booking records, payment status, prior safety history, and messages connected to the incident. They may ask involved users for more information. Decisions consider:

A report may be marked open, under review, resolved, or dismissed. “Dismissed” means the available information did not support action at that time; it does not mean the report was improper.

7. Possible enforcement actions

Depending on context and severity, MyJuhuu may educate or warn a user; request edits or verification; limit reach or features; remove or deactivate a listing; cancel a booking; hold a payout where legally permitted; preserve evidence; suspend or permanently close an account; or notify payment partners or authorities when appropriate. Serious or urgent risk may result in immediate interim action before the review is complete.

We aim for consistent and proportionate decisions, but no moderation system can guarantee that every violation will be detected or that every decision will be error-free.

8. Appeals and no retaliation

A user affected by an enforcement decision may use the support contact provided with the decision to request review, explain relevant context, and provide new evidence. A different reviewer will handle the appeal where practical. One appeal is normally available per decision unless significant new evidence emerges. Retaliation against a reporter, witness, or cooperating user is prohibited and may lead to further action.

9. Emergencies and law enforcement

For immediate threats, injury, theft in progress, or suspected criminal activity, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. After you are safe, report the related listing, user, or booking to MyJuhuu so the platform can take protective action. MyJuhuu responds to valid legal requests and may preserve or disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent serious harm.
